Overview
"Integration" is a broad term that encompasses many ways of updating one system to reflect changes in another system. The most basic Music Monitor subscription includes options to export data from Music Monitor in a format that is ready for import into other systems. Modern API integration requires subscription to the Integrations package.
The integration between Music Monitor and Compass is continually developing. This article only gives an overview of what is possible. For more detail, please contact the Music Monitor team.
API Integrations
Integration with Compass
This is an API integration. The following integrations are currently in place:
Student Details are pulled from Compass into Music Monitor. You can manage your student records in Compass and they will be up to date in Music Monitor.
Calendar Entries are pushed from Music Monitor to Compass for music lessons and ensemble sessions. School staff, students, and parents can see their music lesson activity in their Compass app.
School Events are pulled from Compass into Music Monitor. They are imported as Calendar Exclusions, causing any school activity that coincides with a Music Monitor calendar entry to highlight a clash.
Attendance Data is pushed from Music Monitor to Compass. Music teachers can mark the rolls in Music Monitor and the attendance data will appear in Compass.
Billing integration with Compass via API is not available yet, but the billing process does offer an export option that is set up exactly as required for import into Compass.
Integration with TASS
API integration is possible between Music Monitor and TASS. We have built an integration that pulls Student Details from TASS into Music Monitor.

API integration is possible between Music Monitor and Wonde. We have built an integration that pulls Student Details from Wonde into Music Monitor.
Integrations You Develop Yourself
In addition to the integrations we have built, the Integrations Package gives you access to Music Monitor's API endpoints that allow your IT department to make calls and create integrations of their own.

It is possible to set up an ODBC import to bring in Student Details from Synergetic to Music Monitor
If you use Wonde and have Synergetic connected to it, you also have the option to use Wonde for the integration as described above.
Integration With Xero or MYOB
The billing process in Music Monitor offers export options that are set up as required for you to import the resulting spreadsheets into Xero and MYOB.
