Overview
You might want to produce a report on the music participation of all Year 12s before they finish up for the year. In other cases an individual student may request a transcript of all their music enrolments during their time at the school.
Trigger the Report
You can start the script to produce this report from two different places.
Option 1 - Common Tasks
Go to Common Tasks > Quick Reports > Students : Music Participation Report
Enter search criteria to find the group of students.
To find all Year 12s you would enter "12" in the Yr field.
Select Perform Find in the top bar.
Music Monitor will proceed immediately to exporting the report as a spreadsheet and triggering it to open when downloaded.
Option 2 - Students File
Go to the Students file and find the student or group of students you wish to report on.
When your Found Set includes the students you want, go to the grey top bar and select Scripts > Participation Report.
Once again, Music Monitor will proceed immediately to exporting the report as a spreadsheet and triggering it to open when downloaded.
The Report Content
This report produces an excel spreadsheet displaying details of ENSEMBLE, TUITION and EXAM activity. It includes current and archived information. The following fields are displayed in the report:
Student Name
Year Level
Ensemble Name (all ensembles they have participated in during their time at the school),
Ensemble Joining Date and Finish Date
Tuition Subject
Teacher
Lesson Type
Enrolment Date and Termination Date
Exam Session and Year
Exam Subject
Exam Grade
Exam Result
The report sorts students alphabetically by surname.
