For schools that import student details, the Medical Alert field can be used to mark a student as having a relevant medical issue. This field can be filled with generic text "Medical Alert" as part of the import script.

For schools and conservatoriums that enter student details directly, the Medical Notes field allows entry of detailed notes on relevant medical conditions.

Students marked as having a Medical Alert, or with any content in the Medical Notes field, will appear in red and bold in the Students file and the Attendance module.

In addition to making the student’s name red and bold in the Students file and the Attendance module, a question mark icon will appear for admin staff in the Attendance module. When clicked, the medical notes will display.

For teachers, the question mark icon will appear in their Students listing.
