Room Usage View

The Room Usage view of the Calendar in Music Monitor

Overview

Room Usage is a screen that lists all Calendar Entries for one day, in a simple list format, but separated by Venue. It's a helpful view to use when you're looking for a vacant room that someone can use.

Navigation

  • Go to Home > Room Usage

The view displays calendar entries for a specific date arranged by room.

It opens on today's date. You can use the <Prev and Next> arrows to move to adjacent dates, or enter a date in the date field to see other dates.

  • Select a calendar entry to open and edit it.

The green + icon creates an individual new calendar entry. It defaults to creating it for the displayed date. Edit as needed.

Find an Empty Room

Select More... > Find EMPTY Room button and enter the date and time range you need. The result will be a list of rooms that have no bookings in that time range.

Edit This View

To change the displayed rooms, select the room headings and choose a room in the drop-down.

You can hide a whole row of rooms using the eye icon on the top right of the row. When you have a row hidden, a Show All button will appear in the black top bar so you can show them again.

To add a new row of rooms, select More... > Add a New Row of Rooms.
