Overview
This report shows how long each student has been enrolled in their tuition enrolment. It does not account for changes to that enrolment over time.
The following fields are displayed in the report:
Teacher
Enrolment date
Termination date
Tuition subject
Student name
Current year level
Number of years learning
The report sorts by Teacher Last Name, Subject, Number of Years Learning, then Student Name.
What the Report Includes and Excludes
Our recommended process is to maintain the same enrolment record if a student changes lesson length or changes teacher, and only terminate and start a new enrolment if they cease altogether or change instrument (Subject). This report will then show the full duration of the student's enrolment in this Subject despite any changes along the way.
If you need to report the change when a student moves from one teacher to another, our recommendation is to export Attendance Archives and analyse the data from there.
The Process
Go to Common Tasks > Quick reports > Tuition : Music Tuition Retention Report
The report opens a Find screen in the Tuition enrolments file. The default search will find ALL enrolments.
Vary the search criteria if needed and select Perform Find
The script displays the report.
Select Preview
Select Save as Excel or Save as PDF or Print
Close the window when finished
